Scrapbook page layout on pink damask paper with a tall framed rose tag in the centre, four round pink flower cut-outs at its corners and a strip below that says bloom where you are

Rose Garden Scrapbook Page Idea with Pink Damask Paper

A tall tag in the middle and four circles at its corners is one of the calmest layouts there is. In pinks and creams it turns into a page for a garden, a birthday or a letter to keep.

Quick answer: this rose garden scrapbook page uses three printables: a pink damask paper for the background, a tall framed rose tag for the centre and four round botanical cut-outs for the corners. Print them at home, glue the tag upright in the middle, place one circle at each corner of the tag and add a short handwritten strip below.

The three printables on this page

These three sets are on the designers’ pages at Creative Fabrica. The pictures below are single sheets cut from the designers’ previews, so you can see exactly which piece the page uses.

How to put the page together

  1. Print the background. The damask paper is a 12 × 12 inch square. On A4 or Letter it prints as a square about 8 inches wide; trim it to your page.
  2. Cut the tag and four circles. Cut the tall rose tag along its frame. From the cut-out sheet choose four circles in the same pink family, so they read as a set.
  3. Glue the tag upright. Put it in the middle of the page, straight onto the patterned paper. The pale frame of the tag separates it from the background, so no mat is needed.
  4. Place the circles. One at each corner of the tag, each overlapping the frame a little. Put the lighter flowers on top and the fuller ones below, so the page feels heavier at the bottom.
  5. Add one line. A narrow cream strip under the tag, slightly tilted, holds a few words. On the mock-up it says “bloom where you are”.

Make it your own

  • Use two circles instead of four and keep the other two corners for a date and a name.
  • Write on the tag itself: the upper half above the rose is pale enough for a few lines in pencil or brown ink.
  • Make the circles lift: glue only their lower half and tuck a folded note behind one of them.
