Stuck on a blank page? Get a junk journal prompt together with a layout to build it: what to collect, what to make and where it goes. Every pocket, tag and envelope opens as a printable template in your size.
How the idea generator works
- Press “New idea”. You get a prompt: what to collect and what to do with it.
- Under the prompt there is a layout for a two-page spread, with a sketch and four steps.
- Choose your journal size. The pockets, tags and envelopes of the layout are sized to fit your pages.
- “Get the template” opens that piece in the Template Maker, ready to print.
What you need
A journal or a few folded sheets, scissors, glue, some patterned paper and the paper scraps of an ordinary week: receipts, tags, wrappers, tickets. The prompts are written for real junk, so nothing has to be bought.
A list to print
“Download 30 prompts” makes a one-page PDF with thirty ideas and a box to tick for each. Pick a topic first and the list starts with it. All the pieces can be made with the Envelope and Pocket Template Maker.
