Gingerbread House Christmas Scrapbook Page Idea in Peach
Not every Christmas page has to be red and green. Peach gingham with gingerbread brown is warmer and softer, and it suits the pages about baking: the recipe, the afternoon in the kitchen, the first tray out of the oven.
Quick answer: this gingerbread house scrapbook page uses three printables: a peach and cream gingham paper for the background, one large watercolour gingerbread house for the centre and Christmas bakery cut-outs around it. Print them at home, glue the house in the middle, put a garland along the top, place a few small pieces at the sides and write a greeting below.

The three printables on this page
These three sets are on the designers’ pages at Creative Fabrica. The pictures below are single sheets cut from the designers’ previews, so you can see exactly which piece the page uses.

How to put the page together
- Print the background. Print the peach gingham to fill your sheet and trim it to the page. Keep the lines of the check parallel to the edges: a tilted check is the first thing the eye catches.
- Print and cut the house. The house is a single image. Print it so that it takes up about half the page height and cut around it with a narrow white border.
- Glue the house in the middle. Straight onto the gingham, a little above centre.
- Frame it with small pieces. Cut the long garland of bows and cookies and put it along the top. Then place the bells, the cup of cocoa and the poinsettia at the sides, and the wreath and the tree at the bottom corners.
- Write the greeting. A cream strip under the house holds a few words. On the mock-up it says “sweet christmas wishes”.
Make it your own
- Make it a recipe page: write the gingerbread recipe on a cream card and glue it in place of the strip.
- Use only the house and the garland for a quieter page and keep the rest of the cut-outs for gift tags.
- Turn the house into a flap: glue only its top edge and hide a photo of the real one underneath.
