What is in the kit

Every label has an empty middle, so each one is a place to write: a name, a date, a title for a journal page. The decorated pages carry the Christmas look on their own. The blank framed pages are plainer and work as a quiet pair for them, or on their own for the rest of winter.

The designer made the set for junk journals, scrapbooking and paper crafts. The pages are Letter size at 300 DPI.

Ideas for using the kit

  • Titles for journal pages. Write the heading on a label instead of straight on the page.
  • Gift labels. Glue a label on kraft wrapping paper and write who the gift is for.
  • Jar and tin labels. Cookies, spice mixes and homemade jam.
  • Place cards. Fold a strip of cardstock and glue a label on the front.
  • Envelope seals and address labels. A long label across the flap closes a Christmas card.

Colour palette of the kit

  • White#FFFEFE
  • Beige#E3D2B6
  • Cream#F5EED9
  • Beige 2#BCAB89
  • Olive#84805C
  • Tan#A49272
  • Dark olive#5B5E42
  • Coral#BC5F49

The colours are sampled from the preview images of the designer. Screens and printers show them a little differently, so treat the codes as a starting point for matching cardstock, ink or digital elements.

How the pages print at home

Every page is Letter size, 8 1/2 × 11 in (21.6 × 27.9 cm), so it fills one sheet of paper.

PaperSettingWhat you get
Letter100% (“Actual size”)Every piece at the size the designer drew it
A4“Fit to page”The whole page at about 97%: A4 is a little narrower than Letter, so at 100% the side edges would be cut off

Most home printers leave a white margin of a few millimetres. If a piece sits right at the edge of the page, choose “Fit to page” on Letter paper as well.

Printing tips

  1. Open the page in any image viewer and choose Print, one page per sheet.
  2. Print tags, cards and labels on matte cardstock so they keep their shape; print envelopes and pockets on ordinary paper, which folds without cracking.
  3. Select the same paper type in the printer settings and set print quality to “Best” or “High”.
  4. Print one page first, then cut the pieces out with scissors or a craft knife and a ruler.

Colours may look a little different on paper than on screen: that depends on the printer and the paper.
