What is in the pack

The stripes are painted, not ruled: the lines wobble a little and the colour pools at the edges, so the printed sheets keep the look of real watercolor. For every colour there is a stronger sheet and a washed-out one, which makes easy pairs for a page and its photo mat.

The files are 12 × 12 inch JPGs at 300 DPI. The designer also suggests them for shirts, mugs, pillows and bags.

Try a paper on a tag, an envelope, a pocket and a card

Ideas for using these papers

  • Journal and scrapbook backgrounds. The pale sheets sit quietly behind photos and writing.
  • Cards and envelopes. A deep sheet for the card front, its paler twin for the envelope liner.
  • Tags and labels. Stripes stay readable at any size, so even a small tag shows the pattern.
  • Baby and birthday pages. Six pastel colours cover both without a themed print.
  • Wrap for small gifts. One printed sheet wraps a jewellery box or a bar of soap.

The colours are sampled from the preview images of the designer. Screens and printers show them a little differently, so treat the codes as a starting point for matching cardstock, ink or digital elements.

How a 12 × 12 inch sheet prints at home

One sheet printed on Letter paper at 100% is enough for:

Each link opens the Template Maker with that size ready to print on the back of the sheet.

Printing tips

  1. Open the file in any image viewer or drop it onto a blank page in a text editor, then choose Print.
  2. Choose “Fit to page” for a whole small sheet, or 100% to keep the pattern at its full scale.
  3. Pick matte paper or light cardstock and select the same paper type in the printer settings.
  4. Set print quality to “Best” or “High” and print one test page before you print the set.

Colours may look a little different on paper than on screen: that depends on the printer and the paper.
