We use these types of cookies: session and login, preferences, analytics (Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica), affiliate tracking (partners), social media embeds. You can also switch cookies off in your browser settings. However, some parts of the site may then work differently.
Yandex Metrica, including its Session Replay tool, records how visitors move through our pages: page views, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. Text typed into form fields is masked and is not recorded. We use these recordings only to find and fix places where the site is confusing or broken. The data is processed by Yandex, and some of it may be stored on servers outside your country. To opt out, use the Yandex Metrica opt-out add-on or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Comments
When visitors leave comments, we collect the data in the form, the IP address and the browser agent. We do that for antispam and security.
An anonymized string from your email (hash) may be sent to Gravatar. See: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
After approval, your profile picture (if any) is public in comment context.
Uploaded Media
If you upload images, exclude location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors may download/extract such data.
Embedded Content
Articles may contain embedded content, for example videos, images or offers. Such content behaves as it does on its own site. So it may collect your data, use cookies, run third-party tracking and watch how you interact with it. Please review individual service privacy policies.
Affiliate Links
PNG DIY participates in partner programs, displaying affiliate links (Creative Fabrica, Pinterest, Amazon). Third-party sites may track your visit via cookies; see their privacy policies for details.
Data Sharing
We never sell user data. However, we may share it with:
- Hosting, analytics, and security providers (e.g. Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica, hosting company)
- Partner services (Creative Fabrica, Pinterest, Gravatar)

A password reset request also carries your IP address, because that helps us keep accounts safe.
Data Retention
We store comments and their metadata indefinitely. Registered users can view, edit or delete their personal information, except the username. Administrators can also see and edit this information.

- Request deletion of your personal data (excludes required admin, legal, or security records)

Data Location & Partners
An automated service may check visitor comments for spam. Affiliate and embedded services handle their data under their own policies.
We use these external services: Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica, Creative Fabrica, Pinterest, Gravatar, MailerLite or Mailchimp, and Automattic.
Security
We use SSL/HTTPS and current best practices for WordPress privacy and security. We also monitor and update third-party plugins and integrations. However, no online method is 100% secure.
