What is in the pack
The designer painted the bouquets in watercolor and built three seamless patterns from them: Red Poinsettia, Eucalyptus and a third with cotton bolls, pine and berries. All three sit on a white ground and share the same greens and greys, so they work together on one project.
Each pattern is a 5000 × 5000 px JPG. That is enough for a full 12 × 12 inch scrapbook sheet at more than 400 DPI, and because the patterns are seamless they also repeat across larger surfaces.
Try a paper on a tag, an envelope, a pocket and a card
Ideas for using these papers
- Christmas scrapbook paper. The use the designer names first. Print the poinsettia as the page base and the eucalyptus for mats.
- Greeting cards and New Year invitations. A white ground leaves room for lettering on top of the pattern.
- Envelope liners and tags. The bouquets are large, so cut the tags around a single bouquet.
- Posters and prints. At 5000 px the pattern holds up at poster size.
- Fabric. The designer lists it too; the seamless repeat suits napkins, pillows and gift bags.
Colour palette of the pack
- White
#FEFEFE - Light grey
#C6C0C1 - Grey
#A2A1A3 - Pink
#D6939A - Dark grey
#6F7373
The colours are sampled from the preview images of the pack. Screens and printers show them a little differently, so treat the codes as a starting point for matching cardstock, ink or digital elements.
How a 5000 × 5000 px sheet prints at home
At 300 DPI a 5000 × 5000 px sheet is 16 5/8 × 16 5/8 in (42.3 × 42.3 cm).
| Paper | “Fit to page” | 100% (“Actual size”) |
|---|---|---|
| Letter | The whole sheet at 48%: 8 × 8 in | An 8 × 10 1/2 in piece of the pattern at full scale |
| A4 | The whole sheet at 47%: 19.7 × 19.7 cm | A 19.7 × 28.4 cm piece of the pattern at full scale |
One sheet printed on Letter paper at 100% is enough for:
Each link opens the Template Maker with that size ready to print on the back of the sheet.
Printing tips
- Open the file in any image viewer or drop it onto a blank page in a text editor, then choose Print.
- Choose “Fit to page” for a whole small sheet, or 100% to keep the pattern at its full scale.
- Pick matte paper or light cardstock and select the same paper type in the printer settings.
- Set print quality to “Best” or “High” and print one test page before you print the set.
Colours may look a little different on paper than on screen: that depends on the printer and the paper.
